Office hours for Local 1209 are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with lunch from 12:00 noon til 1:00 p.m.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday night of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Local 1209 was chartered on the 9th day of April 2007, it was formed from the two locals in North Alabama which were closed (Locals 1274 and 109) and consolidated into one.

Local 1209 is affiliated with the Mid-South Carpenter's Regional Council.
